Structural characteristics
Simple structure: usually consists of a support body and parts in contact with the pipeline. The body of the bracket is generally made of section steel (such as channel steel, Angle steel, etc.), and the structure is relatively simple, which may be a single section steel or a frame structure composed of welding section steel. The part in contact with the pipe may be a support plate directly in contact with the pipe surface, or it may be a curved plate with a certain arc to better fit the pipe wall.
Low height design: The overall height of the low slide pipe bracket is relatively low compared to the high slide bracket used to insulate the pipe. This is because the uninsulated pipe does not need to reserve additional space for the insulation layer, so the height of the bracket only needs to meet the basic requirements of pipe support and sliding.
No insulation measures: Because of the non-insulation pipe, the bracket itself is usually not equipped with insulation material or insulation structure.
Working principle
Supporting role: mainly bear the vertical load such as the weight of the pipe and the weight of the medium in the pipe, and transfer these loads to the ground, building structure or other supports, so that the pipe is kept in the design height and position, to avoid the pipe sagging or deformation due to gravity.
Sliding function: allows the pipe to slide to a certain extent in the horizontal direction under the action of thermal expansion and cold contraction or other factors. When the temperature of the pipeline changes, the pipeline will be stretched or shortened, and the low sliding bracket can adapt to this change, so that the pipeline can slide freely on the bracket, reducing the risk of damage caused by thermal stress inside the pipeline.
Application scenario
Outdoor non-insulated pipe: It is widely used in some outdoor industrial pipe systems with low insulation requirements, such as outdoor cooling water pipes and some industrial wastewater discharge pipes at normal temperature. These pipes are usually in a normal temperature environment and do not need insulation to maintain the medium temperature, and the use of low sliding pipe brackets can meet the needs of support and adapt to thermal expansion and contraction.
Indoor pipes without insulation requirements: In industrial plants or some buildings, some ventilation pipes, non-insulated compressed air pipes, etc., will also use low slip pipe supports. These pipes are mainly used to transport gas or fluid at room temperature without insulation treatment, and the low sliding bracket can provide stable support for it and allow the displacement of the pipeline due to temperature changes and other factors during operation.
