The overall layout of supports and hangers should be set within the allowable span of the pipeline and meet the following requirements

The overall layout of supports and hangers should be set within the allowable span of the pipeline and meet the following requirements

1. Get close to the equipment

2. Design near branch pipes such as bends, valves, tees, etc

3. Design near concentrated loads

4. Choose conditions with good rooting advantages, such as buildings, beams, columns, etc

When there is expansion displacement at the pipeline support point, spring-loaded supports and hangers should be used, and constant force spring supports and hangers should be used for large displacement.

When a pipe support is to be installed on a pipeline bracket and the thermal expansion of the pipeline exceeds 100mm, an extended pipe support should be selected.

When it is necessary to limit the displacement of pipelines, limit brackets should be installed.

When arranging pipelines with intersections, high-temperature pipelines, low-temperature pipelines, vibration pipelines, and steam pipelines should not be used to support other pipelines.

Valves installed horizontally with a nominal diameter equal to or greater than 150mm that are directly connected to or close to the equipment pipe mouth should consider support.

Vertical pipes arranged along vertical equipment should be equipped with load-bearing brackets and guide brackets. The load-bearing bracket should be placed near the equipment pipe mouth to reduce the stress on the pipe mouth. If the weight of the pipeline is too large and it is difficult for one support to bear weight, a variable spring support can be added to bear weight.
